There are elements I don’t like in lipsticks: scents, colours, glitter. In Preview Love It Lipstick does a fantastic job with in these categories.
It provides semi-opaque and slip-free shade but fails to meet the third one badly. Despite the beautiful, perfect-for-summer shade (Lancome says it’s a “perfect, not-too-bright medium pink,” and I’m inclined to admit it), the amount of glitter packed into the lipstick is what turns me off completely.
For those who prefer the look of a glittery lips, this is an excellent product to pair with. It’s a gorgeous pink, and the formulation is heavenly – light soft, smooth, and soft and moisturizing. I’d say the coverage is medium, but you can layer it, and the finish is somewhat shiny for an eyeliner )so even if you apply it in an opaque way, you’re not likely to have an overly heavy and done-up lipstick). Lancome Love It! The Color Style Lipstick($22.00) It’s a light pink petal-pink that has a shiny sheen. On the lips, it is semi-opaque and looks and feels soft (but it’s not thick). It’s more like it’s melted into the lips, creating a natural shade. This is one of those super-easy-to-wear shades that work well with a smokey or neutral eye. It’s one of my top choices! The actual lipstick doesn’t dry and lasts for about four minutes on mine.

Color: I love It! It is a beautiful color. Love It! is a lovely dusty rose. It’s a classy “grown-up” pink and is quite flattering. I believe it will work with the majority of skin tones.
Formula: It’s semi-opaque, which you can apply a little. (It is very dark and intense when you use an eye primer.) It’s incredibly comfortable and feels almost moisturized. It lasts for approximately 4 hours and may require to be reapplied in between meals.

The top of the original packaging of the lipstick is color-coordinated with shades of lipstick. My full-sized Lancome Color Design Lipstick in the shade Love It is a free GWP with no card box and slightly different packaging terms of the packaging design. The cap is sealed tight, which makes it suitable for travel. Lancome Color Design Lipstick range contains 42 shades that come in matte, cream shimmer, sheen, and metallic and metallic finishes. While the shades with metallic or shimmery finishes aren’t beautiful, the ones with gloss, cream, or matte are appealing.

Overall I’m a little disappointed by this particular one. The formula is extremely comfortable and highly wearable, and the color is stunning. However, there’s a lot of shimmer in silver (which is true, I can feel in my mouth) that makes me snitch.
If I wear lipsticks frequently and come across a shade I love, I may decide to purchase it. But I’d not buy this shade. While the texture is lovely, the shade isn’t for me. It’s not the only one.
